So your Driver Tacho can read the driver card straight from the USB reader, install the component for your platform. If you're on an Apple device, you can upload a TGD file you already have saved.

Driver Solution Helper
NSIS installer · loading version…
Desktop app that detects your PC/SC reader and lets Driver Tacho read the driver card with no extra drivers to install. Works with Sveon, ACS, OMNIKEY, Gemalto, Identiv and any PC/SC-compatible reader.
Requirements: Windows 10 or 11 · WebView2 (already included in Windows) · USB smart-card reader.
Native app that connects directly to your USB-C/OTG reader. It works around the restriction Chrome for Android imposes on "smart card" class devices — something the web version cannot do.
Requirements: Android 7.0 or higher · USB-C OTG cable · supported reader (Sveon, ACS, OMNIKEY). You'll need to allow "installation from unknown sources".
On iOS and macOS the card cannot be read straight from the browser (Apple does not allow WebUSB for smart cards). But you can upload a TGD file you've downloaded by other means and analyse it with Driver Tacho.
How to use: open Driver Tacho in Safari, choose "Upload TGD file" at step 1 and select the file from Files, iCloud Drive or WhatsApp.
The Windows Helper and the Android app are digitally signed. On first install Windows or Android may show an "unknown publisher" warning because the signature does not yet have reputation: click More info → Run anyway on Windows, or Settings → Allow installation on Android.
The Windows Helper updates automatically when we publish new versions (from v0.2.0 onwards).
The Android app is distributed outside Play Store to avoid Google's restrictions on apps that access transport-specific hardware.
If your reader is not being detected, get in touch from contact with the exact model and we'll add it.
