DRIVER DOCS
Employment documents for road transport drivers — Claims, submissions, requests and communications with dates, facts, a clear request and supporting documents
How Driver Docs works
- Upload the report generated by Driver Lex (or, if you're not coming from Lex, the document you've received from your employer: penalty, letter, working-time change, etc., or describe the situation you want to claim about). PDFs and photos are accepted.
- Fill in as much detail as possible, both your own and your employer's. The more complete the data, the better the document reads.
- Choose the type of document: claim, submission, request, communication or other. Or let the AI choose for you based on context.
- Describe the facts with dates, amounts and what you remember. No fluff.
- Attach the documents you'll be filing alongside the generated document (e.g. employer letter, payslips, penalty notice, rosters, messages, duty sheets or screenshots).
- Review the draft: dates, amounts, names, facts and request. The AI proposes the content, but the final word is yours.
- Sign on screen once the document is ready.
- Download the PDF. Ready to send to your employer, log or file.
- File it through a method that leaves a trail: email with read receipt, a tracked postal service, internal register or the relevant electronic portal.
- If the document comes from Driver Lex, take extra care to check that the facts and amounts are correct before filing.
Driver Docs prepares drafts of employment documents. It does not replace a solicitor, union official, employment-relations adviser or other professional when the case calls for one. The final review must always be yours.
One thing: the more complete the data, the better the document reads. Specific dates, clear facts, precise request and supporting documents. The draft can only be as good as the information you feed it.
